Orwell Vs. Huxley

…soul in the world will mind. 1984 was a fairly powerful novel in the days of communism, but as those days have passed so has our fear of his prophecy coming true. Huxley’s prophecy must be a part of our lives however, and as long as we use technology to assist us, we run the risk of being automated ourselves; preoccupied with everything but true thought. But do not fear, we will love our oppression.
