Outreach

Outreach made me reflect a lot this year. Due to the fact that I was so bored while I was cutting my vegetables, I thought about our current society a lot. As you have read previous to this conclusion, I discovered 2 things, and I came up with 2 conclusions for the future. The 2 things I discovered were the presence of racism and poverty in Montreal. …work alongside of Habitat for Humanity, to build houses for the people in need. The feeling that you get, by making someone smile, after doing something for them for free is good. After the house was completed, the people of the neighborhood would all thank us hundreds of times. Although we didn’t get much of that feeling at Chez Mes Amis, I’m sure I made a difference in someone’s life this year.
