Pearl Harbor

PEARL HARBOR Last weekend I went to the movies, and saw “Pearl Harbor”. Even though some of the characters were fictional, I realized the story behind the characters was true; the bombing of Pearl Harbor in 1941. As I sat and watched this movie, several things came to my mind. How did the United States become so relaxed and comfortable during the German war; why did we have most of our navel fleet stationed on one …

…these events happened. I as an American of the United States, am very proud of our military defense. I also am very proud and appreciative to all of the men and women that serve our country and have given their lives for our freedom. Pearl Harbor is now a large memorial for the lives lost on December 7, 1941. I hope that someday I might have the opportunity to go to Hawaii and visit this memorial personally.
