Personal Statement Since the day I came to the United States, I was told that this is the land full of opportunities. At first, I didn’t really know what that meant because I was only about fourteen-I wasn’t very open-minded back then. …my classes. Often time, one or two “B’s” can throw me off course but I try to look on the bright side that my future “A’s” can beat those “B’s”. I think that in order to be proud, I have to feel proud and good about myself first. I feel very lucky to be in the land of the opportunities, so I promise that I will make the best out of it.
