Persuasive

Dear Mr. President; Apparently, the government is considering not allowing the American public to celebrate holidays in public places. I, as an American teenager and citizen, feel that this policy is too restricting. I do not agree with not celebrating holidays in public places. Please, allow me this opportunity to express my viewpoints. In my opinion, not displaying religious holiday celebration practices might create segregation problems. …and saying what they think or feel! Taking away an American’s right to celebrate a religious holiday in people will cause many problems. First, Americans need to know about each other. Our four fathers fought hard and many died; so you and I could have religious freedoms. Those men did not die in vain. Secondly, Americans should share ideas with other religions. Finally, Americans need to know how other religions celebrate their holiday celebrations.
