The Timber Wolf, an elegant, long-legged creature, once inhabited the vast forests of New England a century ago. Now there is hope of bringing this magnificent creature back to its former environment. Reintroducing the timber wolf would not only help the species with its recovery process, but would also balance New England’s ecosystem and bring back the very symbol of wilderness. …first European settlers pushed them out from their original territory. Wolves aren’t merely a symbol of wilderness; they are a key component of the North East eco-system. I believe it would be in our best interest to attempt to reintroduce the Northeastern Timber Wolf since it would better the whole New England community as a whole. Hopefully someday in the future the wolf’s howl may again thrill listeners in New England’s forests.
