Poster Movements Constructivism This art form appeared in the early 20th century as a result of the Russian Revolution and grew a tremendous amount during the 1920’s and 1930’s. Founded in1917 in Russia by sculptor Antoine Pevsner and his younger brother Naum Pevsner Gabo, they believed that art should be functional and include materials and technology that are new to the market.
