Pride and Prejudice is a story about love and marriage in eighteenth-century England. Its main characters are the elder sisters of the Bennet family, Jane and Elizabeth. It is now clear to Elizabeth that Mr. Darcy¡¯s awkward attitude at the beginning of the story was only hiding his generous and caring heart. She learned that jumping to conclusion too quickly based on someone¡¯s character and their looks is too deceiving.
