…Island. That was it. I grew up as part of a small interdependent community, something rare in the world today, and am thankful for that. I am grateful that my parents believed in exposing their children to the wider world as well. This exposure has prepared me for what is to come. One cannot stay in their childhood forever. Unlike the raccoons, which were forced from their childhood home, I am eager for the adventure.
