Understanding the generation of phenomenal consciousness can be described to the best of human ability, but a full explanation applying to human understanding is not possible due our own fallacy. A closure of the explanatory gap between the subjective and objective would represent perfection in a part of the physical world. Based on this assumption, humans cannot comprehend perfection; therefore, the explanatory gap can never be closed.
