…The Odyssey. The Odyssey’s story is wrapped around a web of recognition and self-discovery, which is emphasized by the actions of the characters. The writing of both Homer and Van Doren shows the true twisted, erroneous nature of the human being, as well as the perfect abilities of the human mind.
