        The renaissance was a period of European history that developed a renewed interest in the arts. …true because a cultivated lady is to be more passive than aggressive.         In trying to understand society and it's people during any time in history, historical documents play a crucial role in the process of gathering information. Drawing conclusions from such artifacts, requires a lot of time and energy, as well as insight. The documents from which I had gathered my information lead me to believe that the renaissance truly was, a time of rebirth.
