Rene Descartes In Proving the Existence of God.
René Descartes tried using reason alone to prove the existence of God, and that the soul is separate from the body. In the Meditations, he starts out by doubting completely everything and then progressively explains human existence, and then the existence of God. By using reason, he also attempts to prove that the soul is separate from the body. Although Descartes had some very excellent points, it is impossible to prove the existence of God
it is really distinct to Descartes that his ideas are great and could not have been thought of by himself, does not necessarily mean that there is a God who plants them in his head. The cosmological theory is also left wanting because, how could there be an uncaused cause? Although Descartes tried his hardest, it is futile to prove that God exists, and that the body and soul are separate by using reason alone.
