Rise of Nazism

After the end of the First World War, many actions were taken which indirectly lead to the rise of the Nazi party in Germany. Many of the events include the Treaty of Versailles, problems the government of Germany came across, the “stab in the back” theory, and the depression. …Because of certain events and problems which arose after the war, extremists emerged and became members of the Nazi party. The Nazis used these events to justify their cause as well as winning the support from the people. During this time of struggles and confusion, the people of Germany turned to the Nazi party for support. The Nazis were then able to grow by uniting the German people through their common beliefs after the war.
