Youth often suffer for older peoples mistakes. This is true in many cases in the play Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare. This mostly occurs between Romeo and Juliet, but other characters were affected as well. Mercutio and Tybalt were also victims of older people’s mistakes. …and Montegue quarrel. The two houses didn’t attempt to make peace. Instead, they wanted each other to die as shown when Mrs. Capulet wants Romeo dead rather than trying to make peace. The two families didn’t realize that they were causing themselves and the city lots of trouble. At the end of the play, the two households finally realize what they have done, and they become friends and agree not the fight anymore.
