Imagine waking up one morning, going outside to get the newspaper and taking in a refreshing breathe of air but instead, that air is filled with harmful pollutants that are being put off by a nearby pile of burning tires. …equivalent to only 1/10 of the damage caused by most oil spills and leaves large clouds of toxic smoke. In conclusion, burning tires is very harmful to our health and to our environment due to the emissions of many toxic pollutants. It is a problem that won’t be completely solved for a long time but there are many solutions that I will present in my next speech that will clean up these piles of tires.
