Scout's Development

No one can really understand how another feels until they take a walk in their shoes. This along with many other life lessons are taught in Harper Lee’s novel To Kill A Mockingbird, where some characters achieve the ability to walk in each other’s shoes. Those experiences include conflicts with prejudice, and the effort of comprehending how to visualize from another point of view. The events of Maycomb County are based on true happenings and results of communal issues that kindle in modern society. Ignorance and preconception has aged as time, but with acceptance adding on to each day may lead to a whole new day of understanding.
