Title: Shade’s Children Author: Garth Nix This book seems to be one of Garth Nix’s better works because he expands the mind more then he did in the last novel that I read by him, (Pullman’s journey). Pullman’s Journey took place in the mid 1700’s and was about a poor man struggling to support his family. When he struck upon a bright moon rock, that was said to give him power
as dramatically changed, but the future is always something that is unknown. Some people don’t like knowing what is going to happen, because it can be bad, but ultimately I like to know what’s coming so I can plan for it, and this book has some great points in showing the government’s faults, and showing how other people can sneak up and nab the thresholds of what we know as civilized life.
