Artist Cindy Sherman has taken modern society by the bullhorns. Appalled and disgusted by the media myself, I find relief in Sherman’s satire use of the camera. If anything else, it is certain that she has taken the fantastical element of playing dress-up, and heightened the experience for the little girl in every woman.
