…if I wanted to or not. So I waited. I called him the next day after deciding that calling him would be a bad idea, and I would only come out of it hurt. I called him, knowing full well the outcome. This time I untied my own shoelaces and ran as fast as I could. I ran, and I fell, and the only thing I could say was “I knew this was gonna happen”
