Siddhartha and trinnity

…leaving his father and still become enlightened. He needed the synthesis of his previous lifestyle in order to attain that state. The thesis: the world of the mind, and the antithesis: the world of the body, come together into a synthesis which result in enlightenment. It could be said that Hesse uses this style of writing to reinforce a main idea in eastern thought: that all things are connected, and when viewed correctly, are one.
