…was to go against gender roles. This probably was not their intention because they were just acting true to themselves. They acted as strong individual who wanted to make a difference in the world. Lastly, society should just accept the fact that women can be great successes and ignore that although rare, the heroines are not oddities because they disregard gender roles. They live to the best and this must be applauded instead of “booed.”
