…Atlantic charter. In 1945 WW2 ended and in July Churchill was reelected to office. In 1953 he was knighted by the queen and also won the Nobel prize for his literature. In his retirement Churchill worked on more literature and his favorite pastime painting, producing over 500 paintings. Winston Churchill died 2 months after his 90th birthday, and his funeral at Saint Paul’s Cathedral was attended by dozens of world leaders, he was then buried at Blenheim palace.
