Socialization is defined as the process through which people learn the expectations of society. This expected behavior allows people to determine their perspective roles in society. …to make me the person I am know. Resocialization is defined as the process by which existing social roles are radically altered or replace. I believe that not only have I experienced this by coming to Hampton, but a majority of the other students on campus have experienced this as well. Leaving your home, your society, and your way of living and being put in a new situation is cause for anyway to undergo resocialization.
