…Growing up in Harlem was not easy for either brother. Sonny became prone to many of Harlem’s specialties. He began the game of drug addiction and living his life “on the edge�Eas some would call it. These occurrences caused Sonny to tare away from his brother. The narrator tried his best to love and bolster him but unfortantely Sonny thought he didn’t need protection from his older brother, let alone anything else.
