Kate Chopin’s Story of an Hour and Grace Paley’s Samuel were similar in the way both authors portrayed there time period of society in their stories and how both stories ended in a tragedy. The also differed in themes and morals. These stories were cleverly written to expand the reader’s imagination and teach several life lessons.
