Strange foods, is there such a thing? I don’t think there is strange food, just exotic foods. Foods vary from country to country, what is considered exotic to one region maybe a staple in another. In this country we have a variety of “strange” exotic foods to experience. …fat and cholesterol, and tastes like beef could make this a popular alternative to beef in the future. It is already becoming accepted meat. Ostrich meat tastes very good says my husband. To me strange food consists of any seafood that is not just fish. Just this year I’ve experienced strange seafood like calamari, prawns, crab, lobster, and other shellfish. Though a bit squeamish about trying strange foods, I find it a bit exciting.
