Suicide is unfortunately not an uncommon topic for many people. It has taken the lives of many people in this country and many countries throughout the world. The rates of suicide and suicide attempts among adolescents and young adults are currently on the rise. In fact, in the “United States, 4,784 adolescents and young adults took their own lives in 1995 alone (Johnson, Krug, and Potter 74). …from actually happening. The risk factors for suicide should be made clear to all young people throughout the world. “Suicide Note” is a good example of the youth are going through. The young girl was not feeling any different that all the other adolescents who have committed suicide. We should use her words to tell other young people how she was feeling when she had these thoughts and the effects on her family and friends.
