Telemachus

Telemakhas is a very important character in the book the ODYSSEY. Telemakhas in a sense is a very troubled kid. He has had no father for his whole life. His father left for war when he was a little baby. The war lasted for over 10 years and then his trip home took more than nine and a half years . Athena the great god of wisdom has guided telemakhas in his adventure to find his fathers …

…not there. His belief s and his loyalty to the gods are much different to todays times. There society was much more untangeble driven were todays society is driven by tangibility. In our times the youth has much more ability than the days Telemakhas was around. Older people were classed “Superior” and today’s times they are classed as disable and outdated. In summary Telemakhas is a very wise young man with a bright future.
