The 1960’s were a very controversial time for people all around the world. Over the course of those ten years, family structure changed, lifestyles were altered, and overseas battles were fought. …Robert Kennedy. Kennedy who had a great chance to win was killed after a speech. In the same year Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated in Tennessee. Both of these deaths greatly changed the outcome of following years. In 1969, Woodstock, an all musical event, took place and was a major gathering for hippies everywhere. It was also the year of the moon landing. The landing was a good ending to the most remembered decade ever.
