The 3/5 Compromise

The first real battle of the Civil War occurred before the American Revolution. This battle wasn’t fought like most other battles; instead of generals trying to outdo the other with weapons, politicians tried to outdo the other with their words. …civil war, to have been prevented the US government would have had to step in much earlier. However, there has never been a nation that hasn’t had at least one civil war, thus some could make point by saying that the civil war was instrumental in developing the nation. I personally can’t see how killing your own nationality, your friends, your family, can be considered as instrumental to the development of a nation.
