Slavery helped to justify that all men are created equal and are given natural rights; it has also allowed us as Americans to be more open minded to other races and not believe that only one is superior to another. So in conclusion, one of America’s greatest founding fathers were those that suffered thru slavery because they helped to justify the one thing guaranteed to everyone, equality.
