The Book of Hosea

Historical Background Hosea was the son of Beeri, and author of the book of prophecies bearing his name. He belonged to the kingdom of Israel. (1:10; 2:23) I like this verse because it took a little time for me to actually put together what he said and figure out the meaning of it.
