…that he takes; first explaining the revisionist arguments as well if not more clearly than Bernstein’s own document then revealing and impressive and greater breadth of information around the issue, and finally showing why this new information proves the revisionists wrong. I appreciate the fact that Richardson’s essay can stand alone and explain both sides of the issue, whereas Bernstein’s essay narrowly discusses only limited information and one side of the argument.
