The Constitution: Relief for All

Tyranny. Oppression. Repression. Restriction. These descriptors illustrate British rule’s impact on the colonial population. After years of unwarranted invasions, unfair taxes, and burdensome laws, people dreaded the continuing loss of their freedoms.
