…desperate to stay innocent has the other girls brain washed to accuse everyone, including the John and Elizabeth Proctor. These accusations stir the triangle into trouble. But, the love of John and Elizabeth is much stronger then lust and treachery. The loyalty to each other kept John and Elizabeth together not letting a little, “Whore”, Josh says get in the way. The love triangle is just two in the end and loses the third party.
