The Death Penalty

When a man is caught stealing another man’s wallet, he is punished for his crime. He may be fined or sentenced to jail. It is up to a judge or jury to decide. When a man murders another man, he also needs to be punished. We live in a country that uses the death penalty and the penalty should stay in affect so the killers cannot be let out of prison to go on …

…said, “He who strikes a man so that he dies shall be surely be put to death.” This verse alone says there shall be a death penalty. I feel the death penalty is important. If we did not have it there would be a lot more killers running around. And it all comes down to Exodus 21:23-24, “And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth.”
