…was that it was very hard to get into, but as the plot deepened and the novel progressed it turned out to be an outstanding, enjoyable book. Some of the reasons being were because the racial differences in the book are recognisable in today’s society and I was able to relate to that. What added to me enjoying this book was that it included a little romance and it proved that war changes everything.
