…to be learned through this situation in Ireland and in other revolutions is to have patience despite how horrible the conditions may be. I cannot say that I would not have reacted the same way as the Irish or my fellow Americans if under the same circumstances because I was not there. I can say, however, that I will have a better understanding of the consequences that can occur when or if the time arises.
