Growing up in a Western civilized culture all people are either directly or indirectly affected by their birth parents at one time or another. During early stages of development children are most affected by their parents. By being raised in a traditional family, most people have a predetermined mindset of how parents should act. The most common misconception people have
of life, they begin to make themselves more independent from their parents. While parents are still an influence in the adolescent’s life, the child begins to separate himself. By this time the child begins to question certain things in life, which some learn on their own, and others learn from their parents. Once the person grows from adolescence to adulthood they no longer rely on their on their parents nearly as much as before.
