The Egyptian Pyramids

Within the hot, dry, desolate desert of Egypt west of the Nile River, lies a silent city. A city once existing during Biblical times before the years of Christ. Its' great temples hold the bodies of famous Egyptian pharaohs, queens and wealthy government officials. …as each layer was erected. Hundreds of thousands of people built the pyramid within a span of approximately twenty years.         The pyramids were meant to last forever. Their existence has raised many arguments and they have sparked the imaginations of many due to its size and mystery and the bizarre stories and curses derived from them. They have been here for four thousand years, so why not four thousand more? Let the enigma live on.
