As Americans, the knowledge of our history through media, books, and family stories is very important in understanding what happened to our ancestors before we were born. A lot of what happened in American history effects us today. Their victory’s, defeats, struggles and hard work all make America what it is now. …Pa of her optimistic faith that they will overcome all the cruelty and live on. I believe this movie helps us imagine what it was like during the time of depression and how thankful we are now that we don’t have to walk down the path our ancestors did. The Grapes of Wrath was a great movie in that it showed us the importance of American history and all that has evolved since then.
