…then turned the gun on himself. Daisy’s actions after Gatsby’s death proved that she was with Gatsby only for his money. She did not got to his funeral but left somewhere with Tom. The attendance at the funeral was pitiful. It shows how Gatsby completely failed in achieving what he wanted. Nick who was completely devastated in the events that occurred decided that New York wasn’t a place for him to be.
