…a feudal system and into an age of a central ruling body. In 1453, it may have been just one King, but he ruled the nation as a whole. Today we have evolved our system of ruling even farther into the United States Government for example. It’s amazing to me how we base many of our fundamental ideas of society and centralized government on the thoughts of 15th century peasants. How far we’ve come.
