The Indian Mutiny The Indian Mutiny is a short story by Will Self, published in 1994, and is about a man, who believes he killed his history teacher back in primary school, by driving him into suicide. In the story, we hear of how the main character, Mr. Fein, droved his teacher, Mr. Vello, into taking his own life, by mentally harassing him. The story gives us a perspective of how evil and cruel children can
need to make some “laws” where undisciplined behavior in school ends up with some consequences at home. Those consequences could for instance be that the child should do without a television or candy for a specified period. I believe that such kind of punishment will make the troublemakers cooperative. The conclusion must be that the Danish schools haven’t solved the problems of discipline very well so far. It’s all a matter of respect.
