Since it’s introduction in 1984, Apple’s Macintosh computer has represented the most obvious alternative to the world of Intel-based computers running Microsoft’s operating systems. …better understanding of the pros and cons of the Mac and the PC. It is obvious, I hope, that my preference for the PC over the Mac is grounded in the real world whereas Mac lovers tend to ignore these sensible arguments for their love of all things Apple. Unless a chosen profession dictates the in depth knowledge of and willingness to use Macs, everything that needs a computer uses the PC, not the Mac.
