“The Marketing Mix” The marketing mix is all about the 4 P’s. These 4 P’s are the baseline and backbone of marketing. They stand for product, promotion, place, price. Product deals with creating a product that people will want. Promotion deals with promoting your product so that people know that it exists. Place deals with having your product where it will be accessible to the consumer. Price deals with putting a decent price for your
other wants. For the consumer it is shoes or apparel, and for Nike it is the consumer’s money. Both are free to accept or reject, but I highly doubt Nike would reject any type of money being given to them for their products. And they both want to deal with each other especially if the consumer plans of purchasing Nike shoes. So when it comes down to it, Nike does a great job marketing.
