The New Deal 2
The New Deal The US fell into the worst depression in history during the 1930's. America witnessed a breakdown of the Democratic and free enterprise system. The United States was plagued with an economic depression that was unique in its grievousness and its aftereffect. At the bottom of the great depression one worker in every four was out of a job in America. Farmers lost their land, homeowners lost their homes, thousands of banks closed
financial practices that had helped precipitate the Great Depression. In addition, the New Deal alliance dominated the electors and the nation for many years to follow. The New Deal changed the relationship with the peoples of the United States and their government. While the New Deal created involvement in the American people’s lives it also created a number of organizations that still exist today, as well as increase the growth of the Democratic party.
