…the doctrine of the Trinity and also did not rely on Jesus being motivated by God (Mellowes). Personally I do not believe Jesus was the son of God and I do not believe in things such as virgin births, so to me Jefferson’s account of Jesus’ life in the correct one. Most likely Jesus was a good man who believed in teaching how to be a good person in a concern for the world.
