The Messiah Kaiser is presenting his approach on understanding the Messianic passages in the Old Testament with the views of the promise that God had given Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and David. He spends three chapters in his book on the Psalms, in the light of the promise to David. He feels that there is foreshadowing in the Psalms of the coming Messiah, especially in the Psalms that David wrote (98). David stated in Psalm 110: 1 “The Lord …

…the revealing of the Messianic prophecy will never be complete, but it would have been nice if he would sum up what he stated. The way that Kaiser would go off on terms and what they mean is sometimes hard to follow. Kaiser talks about something and for the next five or six lines he explains a word and then goes back to what he was talking about. By that time the topic is lost.
